Being asked to photograph the very first same sex wedding to be blessed by the Anglican Church in New Zealand is a big deal. There's the pomp, the ceremony, the emotion, two glamorous grooms and a suit flown in from Saville Row - how could the photographs be anything but impeccable?

The ceremony took place at Christ’s College, in the heart of Christchurch. With some of the country’s top lawyers, QCs, Members of Parliament and Bishops in attendance, Kim and JJ’s day was one of a kind. It was full of gravitas and meaningful moments, as befitted the character of the grooms.

Highlights included the indomitable JJ processing down Rolleston Ave with his family and friends, the finery gathered in the Christ’s College Quadrangle, the brilliant speeches and dancing until the wee hours to the fabulous music provided by the New Zealand Army Band.
